In a way, I feel like a viking, rich man, and a young child.
All rolled together, in a unique blend.
A blend that makes me a stronger, better person.
The cruise ship serves as a launching point point,
from which to touch down on to foreign lands.
Taking their culture and getting rich from that.
The rich man in me pops up like the Hulk in Bruce Banner.
As on this ship I have plenty.
Plenty of people to entertain me.
Plenty of food and the capacity to eat at my leisure.
As for the young child, well, it’s easy.
It’s like seeing something new for the first time,
and
being in childlike awe at it.
There’s so much novelty of this thing,
novelty that won’t be forgotten for a very long time.
And it’s all very true.
I get to visit the lands that the Vikings came from
and meet their descendants.
I get to take home experiences that will make me rich,
rich beyond anyone’s imaginations.
I get to experience something new, with the childlike
fervor,
for the first time. Thanks to a parent who cares and
supports me.
This mix, this blend,
It’s
what makes life good.
