Earlier this morning I got the horrible news that my grandma passed away. Later on today I learned that she was diagnosed last week with lung cancer, and that the doctors couldn't do anything for her. It's harsh and brutally sobering to hear this awful piece of news.Though to be fair, I feel that it might have been better for her to not to suffer with a prolonged treatment. Either way, I will miss you grandma and I will love you for forever. May you be eternally happy with grandpa up there in Heaven.

- I'm a junior at the University of Mary Washington. I play hockey and tennis and I love them. I also play the bass trombone and it's my life. I've made a ton of friends through music and it's an experience that I'll relish for the rest of my life. Traveling is something I love and I want to (potentially) make it my future job to travel. I'm an International Affairs major, minoring in Economics AND German. Finally, I like to write as a hobby. Dunno how many people know that about me, but since you're here, now you know.
